Security Settings

Protect your account with password management and two-factor authentication.

Accessing Security Settings

All Users: Settings → Security tab

Password Requirements

Your password must meet all of the following:

• Minimum 8 characters
• At least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
• At least one lowercase letter (a-z)
• At least one number (0-9)
• At least one special character (!@#$%^&*)

Changing Your Password

1. Go to Settings → Security
2. Enter your Current Password
3. Enter your New Password
4. Confirm your new password
5. Click Change Password

Password Tips

• Use a passphrase (e.g., BlueHorse$BatteryStaple)
• Don't reuse passwords from other sites
• Don't share your password with anyone
• Change your password periodically

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Coming Soon: Add an extra layer of security with 2FA via authenticator app or SMS.

Session Security

• Sessions automatically expire after 30 days of inactivity
• You can log out from all devices in your profile
• Each login shows the device and location

Security Notifications

You'll receive an email when:

• Your password is changed
• Your profile is updated
• Someone logs in from a new device
• Unusual activity is detected
