View and manage all reviews across the Notarial ecosystem. The unified reviews system supports multiple review types.

Review Types

The Notarial platform supports four review types in a unified system:

Accessing Reviews

Navigate to:

  • Dashboard → Reviews (notary/agency reviews)
  • Dashboard → Companies → [Company] (company reviews)

Notary & Agency Reviews

Review List

The reviews page shows all verified reviews for notaries in your agency:

Review Information:

  • Star Rating: 1-5 stars visually displayed
  • Client Comment: Review text (truncated if long)
  • Notary Name: Which notary received the review
  • Date Submitted: When the review was posted
  • Status: Visible, Hidden, or Flagged
  • Response Status: Whether you've responded

Verified Badge

Every notary review shows ✓ Verified Service indicating:

  • Review is from an actual client
  • Tied to a completed order
  • Submitted via secure invitation token

Filtering Reviews

Narrow down reviews using filters:

By Notary

  • Select specific notary from dropdown
  • Shows only their reviews
  • Useful for individual notary performance

By Rating

  • 5 stars, 4 stars, 3 stars, 2 stars, 1 star
  • Select multiple ratings
  • Find areas needing improvement

By Date Range

  • Date picker for start and end dates
  • View recent reviews or historical trends

By Response Status

  • Unresponded: Reviews needing your response
  • Responded: Reviews you've replied to
  • All: All reviews regardless of response

Viewing Review Details

Click any review to see full details:

Full Review View:

  • Complete client comment
  • Order reference (internal)
  • Date and time submitted
  • Notary information

Actions Available:

  • Add Response: Write a public response (Pro/Enterprise)
  • Flag Review: Report inappropriate content
  • View Order: See the original order details

Company Reviews

What Are Company Reviews?

B2B reviews submitted by agencies about companies they work with:

  • Title companies
  • Lenders
  • Signing services
  • Other vendors

Viewing Company Reviews

From the Company List: Navigate to Dashboard → Companies:

  1. Find the company in the list
  2. Global companies show rating in the Rating column:
    • Format: "4.5 ★ (12 reviews)"
    • Click the rating to view full reviews page

From Company Detail Page:

  1. Click on any company name
  2. View the Reviews section in the right sidebar:
    • Aggregate rating (e.g., "4.5 ★ (12)")
    • Total review count
    • "Leave a Review" button
    • Link to full reviews page

Visual Indicators:

  • Global companies (purple badge): Show reviews and common tags
  • Private companies (gray badge): No reviews section

Common Tags

From Company List:

  • Tags column shows up to 3 common tags
  • Overflow shown as "+N" for additional tags
  • Only displays for global companies

From Company Detail Page:

  • Common Tags section in right sidebar
  • Shows all aggregated tags from across agencies
  • Each tag displayed with icon
  • Long tag names are truncated with tooltip for full text
  • Helper text explains these are platform-wide tags

Leaving a Company Review

Eligibility:

  • Your agency must have completed orders with the company
  • One review per agency per company
  • Reviews are public

To Leave a Review:

  1. Navigate to Dashboard → Companies
  2. Click on the company
  3. Click "Leave a Review"
  4. Submit:
    • Rating (1-5 stars)
    • Comment
    • Optional: would work again, avg time to pay, tags

How to Respond

  1. Click on a review
  2. Click "Add Response"
  3. Write your response (max 2,000 characters)
  4. Click "Post Response"

Response Guidelines

Do

  • Thank the reviewer
  • Be professional and courteous
  • Address specific points from their review
  • Offer to resolve issues offline
  • Keep it concise

Don't

  • Get defensive or argumentative
  • Share private information
  • Make excuses
  • Be generic or robotic

Response Examples

Positive Review:

"Thank you so much for the kind words! We're thrilled
you had a great experience. We look forward to working
with you again!"

Negative Review:

"Hi, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. We strive
for excellence and would like to understand what went
wrong. Please contact us at [phone] to discuss further."

Flagging Reviews

If you see a review that violates guidelines:

  1. Open the review
  2. Click "Flag Review"
  3. Select a reason:
    • Offensive language
    • Contains personal information
    • Fake review (suspicion of non-client)
    • Spam or promotional content
  4. Add explanatory notes
  5. Submit

Admin will review and may remove or edit the review.

Review Analytics Dashboard

Summary Statistics

At the top of the page, see:

  • Total Reviews: All-time review count
  • Average Rating: Overall star rating (1-5)
  • Response Rate: % of reviews you've responded to

Rating Distribution

Visual breakdown of your ratings:

  • 5 stars: X reviews
  • 4 stars: X reviews
  • 3 stars: X reviews
  • 2 stars: X reviews
  • 1 star: X reviews

Trends

Track over time:

  • Reviews per month
  • Rating trends
  • Response rate trends

Public Display

Reviews with your responses appear on:

  • Notary public profile pages (notary reviews)
  • Directory search results (notary reviews)
  • Company detail pages (company reviews)
  • API responses (when include_reviews=1)

Client identities remain anonymous - only your responses are public.

Best Practices

Monitoring Reviews

  1. Check daily: Stay on top of new reviews
  2. Respond promptly: Within 24-48 hours
  3. Track trends: Look for recurring feedback themes
  4. Address issues: Use negative reviews constructively

Improving Your Ratings

  1. Deliver excellent service: Foundation of good reviews
  2. Communicate clearly: Set proper expectations
  3. Follow up: Ensure satisfaction before requesting review
  4. Learn from feedback: Address recurring complaints
  5. Thank reviewers: Show appreciation for feedback
