Company Types

Global Companies (agency_id = 0)

Global companies are shared across all agencies in the platform:

Visual Indicators:

  • Purple "Global" badge in company list and detail page
  • No row background in company list (white)

Features:

  • Reviews Section: Shows aggregated ratings and reviews from all agencies
    • Average rating (1-5 stars)
    • Total review count
    • Link to full reviews page
    • "Leave a Review" button

⚠️ Review Requirement: Your agency must have completed at least one order with a global company before you can leave a review. This ensures all reviews are based on actual business transactions.

  • Common Tags Section: Displays most frequently used tags across all agencies
    • Tags are aggregated anonymously
    • Shows up to all available tags
    • Helps identify company characteristics at a glance

Privacy Note:

  • Your specific review content is private to your agency
  • Only aggregated ratings and common tags are visible to others
  • Your agency settings (vendor number, fees) remain private

Private Companies (agency_id > 0)

Private companies are unique to your agency:

Visual Indicators:

  • Gray "Private" badge in company list and detail page
  • Light blue row background (bg-blue-50/30) in company list

Features:

  • Only visible to users in your agency
  • Your agency owns all data
  • No cross-agency analytics or reviews
