Offline Indicator
The offline indicator appears at the top of the screen when your internet connection is lost or when changes are pending sync.
## States
| Appearance | Meaning |
|------------|---------|
| 🟡 **Amber banner** | You're offline • N changes queued |
| 🔵 **Blue banner** | Syncing... |
| (Hidden) | Online with no pending changes |
## When You're Offline
You can continue using OnTheGo while offline:
- ✅ View cached orders
- ✅ Update order status
- ✅ Create new orders (Quick Entry)
- ✅ Add journal entries
- ✅ Create invoices
These actions are **queued** and will sync automatically when you reconnect.
## When You Reconnect
1. Banner turns blue: **"Syncing..."**
2. Queued changes are sent to server
3. Banner disappears when complete
This usually takes a few seconds depending on how many changes were queued.
## If Sync Takes Too Long
Sync has a 30-second safety timeout. If it exceeds this:
1. Banner will disappear
2. Check your internet connection
3. Refresh the page if needed
4. Contact support if changes appear lost
