Terms of Service

Template terms for launch — have counsel review before public release.

1. The service

BookSounds provides creator profile pages and destination links for people and organizations in the book and audio ecosystem. You are responsible for the content you publish and for the accuracy of the links you add.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or disable accounts that abuse the service, violate these terms, or expose others to harm.

3. Content and ownership

You keep all rights to the works, names, images, and text you publish. By posting content you grant BookSounds only the limited right to store and display it as needed to operate your public page. Links you add point to third-party platforms; we do not sell, fulfill, or warrant their offerings.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use BookSounds for unlawful content, impersonation, malware distribution, spam, or misleading claims about works you did not create. Don't scrape or disrupt the service.

5. Plans and billing

Plans are billed annually, renew until cancelled, and may change with notice. Upgrades are pro-rated; refunds for unused months on cancellation are handled case by case. We never take a cut of sales made through your destination links.

6. Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is." We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for indirect damages or lost revenue arising from use of the service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
